WWW ---World of Winter Warmth When the city turns cold....

Your Task
In your teams, devise a method/object of insulation to help the poor beat the bitter winter.

The method/object of insulation should fulfill the following criteria:

1) designed for the usage of one person

2) design materials should be cheap and readily available for the poor.
(Remember the poor cant afford to be bringing along expensive materials. They wander around often and their possession get stolen easily)

3) easy to keep and transport
(homeless people wander around and do not have a fixed place to call home)



Your Report
You should be reporting your group progress in your blog. Your blog will be housed in your group wikispace.

Update your group progress regularly to include the following:

-- Problem Statement

-- Variables to consider

-- Lists of ideas generated

-- Reasons for the selection of the final idea

-- Details of the final idea

* specifications of method/object
* materials required
* physics behind the idea
* results of experiment testing (optional)


Note: It is not neccessary for teams to build the product. However, some ideas may seem unworthy (like the 15 below jacket idea shown above) but only by building and experimenting, it can proven to be effective.


Report should be completed by Week 7 (Wednesday, 5pm).
